What makes Japanese animation popular, not only young, but adults as well? I remember a few years ago, when I was a student The first year and second year student at university I was addicted to the Japanese anime "Dragon Ball Z". In fact, even gave the famous American cartoon "The Simpsons" run by their money in my book.

What's strange to me that the "Dragon Ball Z" is about 39 episodes of the season, but if you want to write a review of the entire season, it can be done in just one paragraph. And I mean, you can add all the meat the whole of this season, only one paragraph. Here is basically what I mean …

Episode 1-10ish: Bad guy comes in and starts to terrorize the fictional planet. Less Super Heroes villain fight and lose (unless one of them even death). The main character, who was not able to comfortably control of said villain for some reason, the finally reaches the final confrontation. Episode 10ish – 38: Half Time verbal fists are thrown between a hero and a villain said, and the other half goes to the physical fists. Sprinkle in some dialogue with the minor characters like, 'Wow, he is in full power, "and have about 600 minutes. End of Episode 38: Hero kills villain. Episode 39: It is happy and goes back to normal life.

And there I was in my late teens, with his eyes glued TV. I did not even know the meaning would happen for about 25 episodes, but do not sit and do not want to move. "Dragon Ball Z" which aired in Japan from 1989 – 1996 is not the first air in America until 1996. At the moment I started watching this anime was already 10 years of life. And this time, the animated series is long compared to the new techniques and styles of animated characters. But "Dragon Ball Z" was at the top of the charts in the animated series for its existence in America.

So back to the original question, which makes Japanese animation so popular? Perhaps this modest According to the author, but I have to say further action and lethal violence. As a good example of "The Simpsons" is probably the most popular cartoon America is the animated comedy. In fact, most of the newer American cartoons are based on a comedy or a mystery much (Yes, Scooby-Doo, I look at you).

In 1980, America had its part in the action cartoons like "Transformers," "Thunder Cats" and "He-Man ' but as the end of the 80 came, so did the majority of American action cartoon. And with the release of the great Akira on video in 1990 year and the next mind blowing action / gore, which entered into it, most American fans of cartoons and immediately turned his eyes toward Japan. The film stuck it "can" in the door and made for the Japanese animation debut in the West.

In 1990, the newer American cartoons such as "Batman" and "Superman" came out and were used by the majority of American fans of cartoons, but only to those few American cartoons do not leave much time for other activities of Japanese animation to fill the gap. With a large number of older Japanese anime are translated with fresh anime in Japan, is a lot of Japanese in the western part of the market. Yes, that's according to the author is that Japanese anime has to come to the west only once to the right, and now, it's not leaving any time soon. SB
